Baseball Playoffs - Who will go American and who will go National

First off, I don't know which team I love to hate more, New York Yankees or the Dallas Cowboys. Each have their own prima donnas. And I don't know about you, but I don't know anyone worth $30 million a year and as far as T.O. goes, he needs a pacifier.

Anyways, now that I got that off my chest, lets talk baseball. The dreaded Yankees are gone. Now it is the Red Soxz against the indians for the right to represent the American League. My pick is:

Boston Red Sox Logo - A pair of Red Socks on a baseball in a circle with team nameBoston wins series 4-1

Now, as far as the National league goes, it is the Arizona Diamondbacks vs the Colorado Rockies. My pick here is:

Arizona Diamondbacks Logo - Red and black 'A' above team script in blackArizona wins series 4-3

Let me here from you what you thing the 4 teams will do the rest of the playoffs. Lets see if we can get 500 responses to this BLOG.

If you have multiple defenses, then maybe you can let one of them go, or even multiple kickers, just for the week, however, most of these guys go on waivers and maybe you can pick them back before anyone else does it. My thing is in our league, we have 10 players on the bench. This makes for a cushion.

Tonight is the night of truth. Will the red soxs pull out a win or will the Indians nail the coffin shut?

Edit post: 10/20/2007: tonight could the last hope for the Red Soxs. Walking into Fenway, Carmona takes the ball for the Cleveland Indians and looks to put the final nail in the coffin. Can it happen or will Curt Schilling force a game 7?

I firmly believe Schilling will force a game 7...am hoping Ellsbury makes the lineup...Carmona has struggled alot at Fenway Park and has a career 45.00 ERA and 0-2 record

Tonights game will depend primarily on how Dice K pitches. He needs to be ale to be confident enough to throw the fastball. He shyed away from it in game 3 because Lofton went deep on him.

Plus the Sox bats still need to be hot. Cleveland is a good team and can't be taken lightly.

GO SOX!!!

Danny, I would rather it to be Cleveland but it is almost certain Boston will host game one of the series.

Sox Rock,

Looks like the Indians may have gotten robbed on the call at second with Lofton. But, I did see he popped off the bag after he touched second. How about their third base coach, I wonder how he feels this morning? Playing a little too conservative to me.

About time they played Ellsbury.

Rockies will be real tough and I wonder if the layoff will hurt them.

Frank, I don't think it will matter who represtents the American League. Rookies look for real, but who knows, we will see starting Wednesday

Chris, I see the Soxs pulled it out.

Jay, I think it will be the rookies, but we will see.
