Spring Hill Waterfall is Running Once Again!
For weeks, volunteers worked hard to "save our waterfall" the well known landmark in Spring Hill, Florida, locally just known as "the waterfall".
Earlier this year, the waterfall had literally run dry as the County had to stop the operation of this feature as a cost cutting measure.
But the community came together with donation drives and fundraisers to ensure necessary repairs could be made and the operation of the waterfall could continue. Spearheaded by the Spring Hill Garden Club who took over the responsibility to manage and operate the waterfall, area businesses as well as individual residents worked together and raised money for this community cause.
This past weekend, all the hard work and dedication came to fruition. The Spring Hill waterfall is running once again! A rededication ceremony took place last Saturday at the newly restored waterfall.
Located at the beginning of Spring Hill Drive at the intersection of US 19, the Spring Hill waterfall is once again a beautiful landmark welcoming residents and visitors to the area.
