For me personally, with a high D personality, this floor would drive me crazy bit I know it works for some people...
Love it...crazy stuff out there. I walked into a home with all black marble floors except around the doors and it was bright yellowy beige. Ugh
Michael - it would only work in certain spaces...needs a lot of room to look good.
Mike - It prob. does...unless owner has an "in" with a granite cpmpany.
Jay - LOL. Yes, I have no idea why this is featured.
Jennifer - cool. I hope it helps. This floor is prob super durable - prob. much more resilient vs. a regular tile floor.
Carol - Yes, it will only work in some spaces. It's a very daring floor and won't work for all tastes.
James - I have a feeling they got a good deal on it somehow.
Jay - Well there is some Ubatuba in there which is greenish in color and so glad they reused the scraps.
Janice - Thx. Yes, I thought this was a very creative floor.
Debbie - while I'm always mentally staging a room - you are always on the look out for interesting flooring (I remember RainCamp!) This one is very unique - makes a statement - good for a restuarant - a home, not so much! congrats on the feature!
Richie - Tood point. Also, I'm guessing these floors are hard on the waiters' feet.
Connie - Thx. Yes, it is neat. Maybe not for my home, but could work for some homes.
Coral - Yes, it definiitely works in this setting but not in all
Carla - Yes, I know, it's sad. It's part of who I am now. can't help it.
Ruthmarie - You're right, this is very impactful and you can't help but notice this.
Sold team - that is cool. Yes, it could work in some entryways. Smart for them to do.
Wiedler realty - this is definitely not cheap, but it is very possible they got this for a large discount. The labor on this one is high, even if granite was donated.
Corinne - Oh I agree completely. This is best for commercial setting.
Cory - LOL, yes, not good to have this type of floor if you're not feeling well.
Karen - Glad you like it. That house you mentioned sounds crazy.
Kristine - Yes, we are 2 peas in a pod...even if a different pod. Yes, this would prob. not be the best selection for most homes. But, I have seen some things in a similar vein in very large and high end homes.

Debbie - congratulations on another great feature! I love the granite - what an awesome idea for a commercial setting but would likely work in the right home setting. Perhaps you will do one of these soon and show it to us.
I am thinking this is too hard and cold for a home - I imagine tripping on it because it looks uneven.
It's an interesting and unique look that works well in a busy restaurant. Cool pic, thanks for sharing it Debbie.
Debbie it sure is interesting and I too think the perfect place for it is the pizza restaurant.

These kinds of floors are fantastic. Far better than marble which ends up looking scratched and scuffed.

Barbara - thx a bunch. Yes, that would be a fun floor to work on.
Margaret - Yes, it's kind of like slate - not 100% even. This really only works in some settings.

Brian - Thx. And, oh, yes, marble is kind of soft and porous. Granite is much harder and more resilient.
Debbie - I agree that this would look cool in a retail or commercial space but I have seen something similar in a home and it was terrible. If I remember correctly, it was one of the major drawbacks about the home selling because every room had different pieces and shapes. HUGE SELLING ISSUE!!!
Debbie....Kind of reminds me of the 70s flooring and some of the products used then. It was that kind of a look and brought with it charm and warmth all its own. Maybe I'm just being nostalgic!

Donne - Yes, I think this works in commercial settings but not homes. I just posted it because I though it was interesting and creative.
Kathleen - Yes, it does, but his is very tastefully done - looks very real (because it is real).
Barb - Yes, I think I'll need to go back and snap a shot w/ the tables. Oh, and that is so cool if she calls me. Thx a bunch!
