Thank you Tom and Judy.
Steve, I think it's time for me to go visit my parents. There's not a picture there that doesn't recall something so familiar to me. The scents come out of the memories of that special way it smells back in the mountains, riding up and down those back mountain roads with my granddad as a kid, riding the train in Cass....it's time....it's been too long. Well done sir! Bill
Alan and Michelle, Petfinders is a great place! We got both our rescue dogs through them.
Virginia, This was probably too personal to post here, but the place, people and memories associated with this little farm mean a lot to me. I am glad you were uplifted by it. I did not mean for iit to be TOO sad. but just a little sad :-)
Bill, yes go visit your parents! I am glad you could connect with the photos. I actually made this slideshow for my family and friends who have been to this beautiful place over the years, but I thought I would post it here as well.
The smell of the wildflowers in the upland meadow in the photos was amazing. There were lots of deer but too far to get good photos. There had been lots of spring rain and the mountains are as green as can be. So yes head on down to Cass young man!
