Since I am not a big fan of sappy, Hallmark made commercial ridden days like Grandparents Day, Presidents Day, May Day, Flag Day... this day, that day blah blah blah etc...Here comes Dad's Day or Father's Day. Ok, I am willing to participate because i honestly have the best Dad in the world. He is 87 this year and while he is happy and healthy, he is aging, getting a little hard of hearing but he is still smiling and wonderful...He is a joy and I will celebrate any and all days that i can while he is alive.

That said, we shouldn't wait for some special day to celebrate this and that, let's celebrate everyday....it will do us good. Happy Friday...go and prosper. Happy Father's Day to those wonderful Dads.

Suzanne: I agree, if you still have a parent it is best to make each and every day special and thank God you still have them. I'm sure your Dad will love the little extra attention this Dad's Day.

I agree with you 100%. Life is short and we should make each day as if it were our last. Don't wait until a holiday or special occasion to celebrate or to keep in touch. We cannot take back the time we lost.
