Friday's Photo's in Bristol Tn Va.....Fallen!

I posted this image of time gone by in The Bristol Tn Va Area a while back. I recently went back by it while showing property and had to bring you up to date on its status...

It's now FALLEN!

I'm not sure what brought it down.....The Weather or maybe just old age....I do know it has stood proud and true for many many years......it had to be either a home or general store at one time or another and I've always liked driving by it because it would make me daydream about it's history and what might have taken place in and around its walls.

I hope the fallen down structure has enough wood for recycled opportunities. Out with the old; in with the new. I once knew a man whose father owned a farm in VT. When the barn collapsed, my friend Steve hauled away as much wood as he could and made some beautiful crafts. He told me his father taught him how to do that and the skill was passed down through the generations. I saw some of his work and it was pretty amazing.
