Finding, Editing, and Posting Expired Ads On Craigslist

There has been a few changes to Craigslist that have made it easier to renew and repost ads.

I have covered a few of these in a previous post, It Just Got A Whole Lot Easier To Repost On Craigslist. , but there is more.

If you have posted an ad in the past that has expired, it can still be reposted. And it can be ads from way back when you got a Craigslist account. I have one back in 2005 that is still available for reposting. This is not necessarily new, but it has gotten a lot easier. Here's how.

You can now use these dropdowns to filter past ad posts quickly and easily. Filter by category and/or month posted. In the past you had to type in the 30 day window manually. If you wanted to search another you had to manually do it again.

Go check it out sometime.

CL has gotten so annoying with their multiple requests for security - change password, give a phone number that we'll text to, etc. that I'm glad to hear something has improved there. I'll check it out.

The easiest way for me to post on craigslist is via my vflyers ads. I take the time to create the vflyer, edit as needed....and then copy the html, launch my craiglist account, paste, and voila!

Easy as pie. It's important to note that one should have a craigslist account in order to track your posts, etc.

Very good to know.  I like the changes that CL has done to cut down on SCAMMERS and while I do delete and REpost my rental ads daily, I'd like to be ABLE to repost an older ad if necessary!
