I have grown up with this program and being a Florida guy born and raised, I can't help but be sadden today as the program comes to an end.

But for even more reasons, I am really sad at the thoughts of what lies ahead for those communities effected by this program ending.

You really have no idea just how wide spread this impact will truly be, but all I can say is, MAY GOD BLESS the men and women and their families that have brought us this wonderful program all these decades.

Thank you so much for your lifes work and we have so enjoyed the memories.

While I don't wish to see the program end, I do feel it's time that NASA cease as a government funded program and become completely self-reliant. I know of no reason why it could not take on a commercial role and operate like any business, in their case, they space business.

What a great program it was! I recently saw a program talking about the amount of people that will be unemployed...I wish them the best in finding new positions as they are some of the best minds!
