Wow, this is a no brainer! A Realtor is licensed by the State and Nation. The Realtor works hard for their client and only makes money once successfully finding a buyer their dream home or helping a seller successfully sell their home in this challenging real estate market.
Choosing a Realtor should be based upon the ability, knowledge, confidence, reputation, local knowledge and a feeling that your being truly professionally represented. Remember that your Realtors relationship with the local real estate community can not be over stated.
Most people don't know what a Fiduciary is let alone know how highly this is regarded in the eyes of the law. A Realtor, Doctor, Attorney all have a Fiduciary responsibility to the clients they serve. A Fiduciary is, in the eyes of the law, the highest degree of trust and faith a client can expect in their representation.
You need to ask yourself whether getting a kickback from an Attorney or a Surgeon would be a deciding factor when choosing the best person to represent your best interest. We all know that it is tough starting a new career and lack of experience can hinder finding clients. You should ask yourself "why would a hard working professional need to buy their business?"
The cost of doing business for a Realtor can exceed 50% of the money they earn. Taking a thousand dollars or more from their well earned and deserved paycheck could make the difference of whether they will be around to represent another client!
