Looking for something fun to do on Friday? Not looking to spend alot of money while doing it?

Then go to the FREE "Family Fest" being held on July 29th, at Gordon Park in LaGrange, Illinois!

Hours for this event are: Friday, 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm.

The Park District of LaGrange Park is hosting this annual event that will feature all sorts of exciting kids activities ranging from a petting zoo and pony rides to inflatable jumps to carnival games. Face painting, music, an array of foods, and more will also be available for families to enjoy.

A DJ will play music until 8 pm, then a live band, "Five Guys Named Moe" will take over and provide the crowd with music. A huge firework display will start promptly at 9:30 pm. A beer tent will be available for adults attending the Fest.

Gene, my husband was the executive director of the Barltett Park District in IL for 31 years, I have attended many of these events. This is one of the great things IL is known for...their great parks and recreation facilities/activities. This sounds like a fabulous event for local families and you can't beat the cost.
