I wonder what percentage of the american populous have a positive view of our congress? It is difficult to trust what they do because they all seem to be engaged in double-talk.
What get's me is how they all seem to speak synchronously sometimes..."the job-creators," or "millionaires and billionaires." The american people are no longer being representated. Sad to say, but let's face it...that's a fact. With the high court being stacked "Citizen United" basically closed the book on the american people.
Congress has failed itself so many times over. When it's not gridlock, it's something else. Let's look at a few...we did not have the money to do it, but we decide three times over the past 10 years that we were getting involved in Wars. We pushed through and extended tax cut that served no useful purpose but satisfy so-called "base." In 2008, we bailed out all the banks.
Since Congress does not seem willing or able to do right by America, is it time for it to consider dissolving itself? Is it time to bring in a new set of experiences to pave the way for a "New America?"
