Congrats To ActiveRainer Janey Coffey! Featured in Florida Realtors® Magazine!
Not only did Janey get a two page spread in the Tech & You section of the Florida Realtor® print magazine but she also has a great photo right on the table of contents page promoting the spread on her. And then again, she is noted in the article 'Ka-ching' with a whole other section devoted to her counsel.
Fabulous advice too! Janey- you look great too! Congrats big time! The main article is titled: 'Here, There and Everywhere'. The interview is about how Janey uses geotagging and mapping to promote her local experience. The magazine highlights the apps that Janey uses which include:
- Foursquare
- Google Maps
- Realbird
She uses a MacBook Air- way to go- another mac fan:) I knew I liked her for some reason:). She also uses the same camera we do, a Nikon Coolpix P6000. We have more in common:) How fun!
The reason also that we are giving Janey Coffey well deserved kudos is because she really reached out to help me when I was a newbie on ActiveRain.
Back in the day.... there was no help/faq, there was no ARU, there was no AR radio, there was no activerain guide. We only had each other.
Janey and I connected on the Equestrian niche level. I was writing as a newbie on ActiveRain about the different Equestrian events here in Wellington Florida. She called me one day to tell me that through her mybloglog stats she noticed that she was getting hits for 'Mark Bellissimo and Glen Straub'. She showed me how to set up my own stat reader with mybloglog and showed me a lot of great tips.
Then Janey told us about Realbird. I signed up but still did not do anything with Realbird. Then Janey told me again to use Realbird. And now look where we are with Realbird. I teach Realbird Webinars! What a long way we have all come. The growth is amazing and exciting.
Janey Coffey is the star of the month in the Florida Realtor® Magazine but she is a bigger star to all of us who know her and love her.
