It's been an interesting couple of weeks in my world, and I am always striving to maintain my sence of "balance" and peace even as life takes its own twists and turns. So this morning by chance (or probably not, as things go) I came across one of my old favorite bits of prose as I was skimming a local magazine over my morning coffee.
It was originally published in a compilation of "devotional" writings by Rev. Frederick Kates, but it was later clarified to have been written by poet Max Ehrmann.
It's wonderful advice is timeless... The title "Desiderata" means "desired things" in Latin. I hope you will enjoy:

Hi Lisa,
Thanks for sharing.
I love the part that says “speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others.”
Have a wonderful week!
