Fond Memories of Smoky Mountains National Park -- August 2011
What breath taking views! I must commend the park on having lots of great turn outs for picture taking.
This quilt was hanging up at a Smoky Mountain National Park visitors center over the fireplace.
Here is another visitors center on Cades Cove Loop. Make sure to take the time to do this driving loop, the rustic buildings are well worth the time.
I loved the tunnels, being from Houston, we don't have mountains, so tunnels are a treat.
This unusual yellow flower had little cups for each flower. It reminded me of a hummingbird flower.
When I go to National Parks I get my National Parks Passport Book stamped with the date and place. I got my passport book stamped at this wild and scenic river visitors center as well as the visitors centers at Smoky Mountain National Park.
Here is the wild and scenic river. It looks a little low, like the rest of the country that I saw on my way to and from Houston.
What a lovely view this would be from your front porch.
Are you ready to change the view from your porch? Contact me via email or phone I can send over listings the first day they hit the market.
