San Clemente Realtor Mark Paulson Area Market Report 9/25/2011
This weeks market report for San Clemente and surrounding areas from San Clemente Realtor shows that Orange County Median Prices for the resale homes were down 11.3 percent, for new homes it is down 12.2 percent and for resale condos down 10.2 percent. The sales volume is up for resale homes 8.6 percent and up 4.5 percent on condos and down 2.0 percent for new homes.
- Mission Viejo Zip Code 92691 sales prices are down 5.3 percent and the sales volume is down 11.9 percent.
- Mission Viejo Zip Code 92692 sales prices are down 5.5 percent and the sales volume is up 8.0 percent.
- Aliso Viejo sales prices are down 17.8 percent and the sales volume is up 22.2 percent.
- Laguna Niguel sales prices are down 21.3 percent and the sales volume is up 16.9 percent.
- Rancho Santa Margarita sales prices are down 7.6 percent and the sales volume is down 2.4 percent.
- San Clemente Zip Code 92672 sales prices are up 9.4 percent and the sales volume is up 12.9 percent.
- San Clemente Zip Code 92673 sales prices are up 3.3 percent and the sales volume is down 6.1 percent.
There is not much good news the biggest change in week was in Midway City. I usually do not report on the area but looking at the satatistics thy a 266.7% increae in sales volume. On good note resale homes went up about the same as the new homes dropped a little. In Mission Viejo we saw the zip code 92692 sales volume increase 24 percent when compared to 2010. The reason for the large percentage changes is do to the small number of sales. What gains we thought we had were removed this week.
