I could attempt to turn this into a post about even something remotely related to real estate but I'm not feeling very creative. Whenever I see a Praying Mantis up close I wonder if this is where all of the drawings of alien faces strarted. This one was a biggie and moving quite slow across the path in the park this afternoon. Just like me trying to soak a few rays of sun before it heads below the horizon. Glad I'm not small enough to be his or her dinner.
That praying mantis has to live somewhere! Does he rent or own? Or is he homeless, living on the street? Can he qualify for a mortgage under today's new strict lender guidelines? Tell us! We want to know!
I have wondered about the praying mantis too... think they are spying on us? :-)
Jeff-well there you go getting creative on me :-) This one seems to have a nice home in the local wildlife refuge...at least until one bird spies him and makes him dinner.
Liz-as I was taking photos he/she kept cocking it's head watching me quite intently. Perhaps it was taking photos of me taking photos.
I love these guys. And what a great close up photo! They look so intelligent somehow.
I don't know, Cindy, if Monsanto keeps messing with our food, these guys might get big enough to eat us!!

Coral-I do too. While I was taking the closes up photos he kept a watchful eye on me.
Valarie-good point. This was a big one and I was suprised to see it so late in the season.
Dedra-fortunately Praying Mantis don't bother me. Now spiders....they give me the creeps.
You capture such great closeups Cindy! I am now inspired to skip the scenic panoaramas and look for the small world.
Steve my plan was more buildings and panoramas but I seem to be spending a lot more time with things closer to the ground.
Cindy what a great shot this is. And after looking at it more closely you are right - I think all the alien shows look very similar to this shot....hhmmm..
