Naples FL - 24th Annual Boat Parade - Venetian Village in Park Shore, FL

No question that Naples is a great place to live, work and play!  If you love boats and Christmas lights, this event is for you.

Another fun evening for the whole family!  The 24th annual boat parade at The Village on Venetian Bay (Park Shore), Naples, FL. . . . December 8th, 2011 - Starting at 630PM with live entertainment throughout the evening.  This is one event that brings the community together every year.

Not wanting to miss on a such an enjoyable evening we've already reserved our table alongside the judges location overlooking the water from Miramare Ristorante and down Venetian Bay.  What a way to make an evening out of this fun event and I would suggest you make your reservation at Miramare Ristorante 239-430-6273 before it is too late - it is truly a prime viewing position.

There is no entry fee to participate in the Village on Venetian Bay boat parade.  To Sign up call 239-403-2204 - we would love to see more boats.  Last year's winer was a first time participant and we had voted for them.

** The Village on Venetian Bay is located off Park shore Dr (off Crayton Rd), both are one lane streets, so I suggest to be there early to avoid the heavy traffic and locate parking.

Couldn't get a reservation?  Don't fuss.  Venetian Village is located in the middle of the bay and there are numerous side walk spots to watch the boats.  The 50+ stores will be open late for business and some offer their own entertainment too.

In the spirit of the holidays we are all planning to have a good time and hope you will join us too.

Dear Ellie - I love the boat parades.  So much creativity & they sure help to get us into the season festivities.  Do they have a theme this year?

Hi Ellie, the boat parade seems like a lot of fun. There seems to be a lot of great things to do in Venetian Village during the holiday season.

Hi there Ellie, I would love to see the lights on the boats (and have a bit of warmer weather about now) but I would miss the snow. We were in Hawaii last Christmas (our first tropical Christmas) and it was just odd for us. Palm trees, shells and flowers with twinkle lights just doesn't seem 'normal' to us Alaskans.

I am sure it will be a lot of fun (not to mention beautiful) though!

Pam - no theme, but the participants come with the most creative decorations.  A coupe of years ago, they had a dragon extend over three boats in a row.  That was my favorite that year.

Dan/Amy - It's our way to welcome the snowbirds as they come into town for season.  Thanks for visiting.

Jacque/Larry - I recommend you be here for NY's Eve then, we have a snow parade!

I have never seen a boat parade but I imagine with it being held in the evening it must be a beautiful site to see.

Ellie that sounds like fun too! New Years here is all about watching fireworks from a warm, usually indoor, place.
