Problogger screenshotWould you like to have more readers, more subscribers, more prospects and clients from your blog? Of course! We've all read about the importance of reciprocating comments and commenting on other blogs within ActiveRain, but how can you expand your reach to the general public and the rest of the world?

In "Building Blog Readership by Monitoring What Other Bloggers are Writing", Problogger's Darren Rowse offers a solution. Each of us has a unique perspective on real estate and our markets, and it's just a matter of sharing our knowledge in the right places around the web.

Rowse suggests two keyword monitoring tools that can help bloggers identify new blogs to visit. He also emphasizes the importance of being genuinely helpful and avoiding comment spam.

I just came back from checking out ProBlogger and the article concerning commenting.  One of the commentors makes the point that he offten spends more time commenting than he does working on his posts...that sounds familiar to me!  Interesting John, thank you.

Michael - The 'fire searches' in Google may be picking up on Santa Clarita in your tagline. I noticed a lot of televsion and news coverage came from there. The non-Californians reflect how widespread the AR membership is. I've noticed you comment on a lot of posts, and that brings readership from not just the author but others who've read that post. Thanks for stopping by!

John, good information. One way is to write interesting information, and say it like it is. Another way is to get to know everyone, and to respond to comments made on your own blog as well as visit your visitor's blog posts.
