Thanksgiving Aftermath. Probably prefer not to say too much since I ate
so much. The company of my kids was wonderful, enjoyable & I did not need to do all the cooking! Thank goodness for the great girlfriends they have. From the stuffed tofurkey, turkey breasts, caramelized sweet potatoes and quinoa to the splendid homemade apple turnovers, it was a day of Thanksgiving for all...we all feel blessed in our lives.

Thanksgiving family

Walking on the beach before the kids arrived provided solace in the day...my neighborhood was a ghost town...everyone had left for grandmas homes I presume. It was the Thanksgiving aftermath that provided the quiet peace of life...my slice of life and I hope it was one as well for you. Thanksgiving Aftermath.

Doug, since i have a vegetarian & vegan in my family...stuffed tofurkey is TOFU made to look like a turkey breast stuffed inside with vegetarian stuffing...it is actually quite good...hmm

Anita, good for you ...i was going to take a nap & hit the stores at midnight a couple of miles from me...but decided it wasn't worth it..best!
