American Legion in Katy Texas to Collect Worn Flags
I really had to look for this I have want to re-post this and it has been on my list of things to do and I have not had a chance. I think the way to properly dispose of an American Flag is very important. I have disabled comments out of respect for the original writer.
American Legion in Katy Texas to Collect Worn Flags
The Jonathan D. Rozier American Legion Post 164 in Katy Texas will be collecting torn, faded, badly worn American Flags on Saturday November 19, 2011. The flags are being gathered at two local Kroger stores being the Grand Parkway at Highland Knolls location and at the Westheimer Parkway and Mason road location. Collections will begin at 9:00 A.M. and last until 2:00 P.M.
There is a very proper means of disposing any American Flag and if any residents have a flag they do not want any more for whatever reasons this is an excellent way to have your flag disposed of in the appropriate manner. No one should ever just take an old American Flag and throw it into the garbage.

The Katy American Legion Post 164 meets on the 4 TH Wednesday of every month at the Katy Elks Lodge # 2628 which is located at 1050 Katy-Fort Bend RD. Katy Texas. Their next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday November 23, 2011. Which is the day before Thanksgiving.
