LIGHTS ON THE BAY at Sandy Point State Park & SYMPHONY OF LIGHTS in Columbia, MD
Driving through one of the Festival of Lights in Central Maryland is a highlight for every child - my girls look forward to it all Season but we usually save this special event until right before Christmas.
For the past 5 years we have been enjoying the Symphony of Lights in Columbia, MD which benefits HCGH's Maternal Child Services. This year, however, we decided to check out the Lights on the Bay at Sandy Point State Park. A 2-mile drive full of holiday light displays is sure to get a lot of oohs and aahs from the little ones! My girls had a hard time deciding which one their favorite display was: the dragon in the water or the frog who turns into a prince or Santa pushing a shopping cart full of presents? Tough choice indeed!
The Lights on the Bay benefits the Anne Arundel Medical Center - admission is $14/car or $10 with coupon. It will be open until January 2nd, 2012 - so still plenty of time to check it out.
The Symphony of Lights in Columbia, MD or the Lights on the Bay at Sandy Point State Park are not only worth the trip they are also for a good cause.
Hop in the car, turn on some holiday music and enjoy the ride!
