Do you ever see at sign that looks like this one and all of a sudden say "now what" or even gosh "what's next?" Well that is what happened when I encountered this sign again today. For some reason, it made me think for a moment about how in a two days 2011 will roll into 2012. And there was no stopping it. No instant replay. The new year was just ahead of me. How exciting! What an opportunity!
There was no need for drama about an unfinished "to do" list as the year would end and I could begin it all over again. There was no real need to look back. Hopefully, I would remember my mistakes and not repeat them again. There was nothing I could change about my life. The only thing I could do was stay in the present and not let any of 2011 slip away from my living it to the fullest. I realized my bottom line was not to have any signs get in the way of my living my life and reaching for those dreams. And as for what's next...2012.
Make it the year you did something for the first time. Make it a year without stop signs. Make it your best year yet! Happy New Year! See you'll next online...
