It's Possible to be in 2 Places at the Same Time.

I was in Nevada and Arizona at the same time..... proof is below.

Nevada - Arizona

I've always wanted to visit Hoover Dam.

I was on a recent business trip to Las Vegas

I rented a car and drove the 30 minutes.

It is impressive.

My trip also proved

that it is possible

to be in 2 places at the same time.

Susan - Hoover Dam is truly amazing.  I hope you took the tour.  We flew out there for my birthday in 2006 and had a great time.  We were scheduled to be there for 5 days.  After about 48 hours, we were tired on the casino (neither of us gamble much above the nickel slots), we hit every restaurant and shop in 47 hotels and had to find something to do before American Express pulled the plug on me.

We rented a car and drove out to Hoover Dam. We took the tour and learned a lot.  We also drove out to Red Rock Canyon and hike around the hills and took pictures of the donkeys. I was quite surprised as we walked back down to the rental carr we came across an area of heavy brush and I noticed the odor of what appeared to be someone smoking somthing a little "wacky".  About the time I said "hey, that smells like....." before I could finish the sentence,  Bill clamped his hand gently over my mouth and took my elbow and directed me away from the area.  Come to find out, he had notice a little chinese man with a fung chu mustache squatting in the brush smoking some wacky weed!!!

We got in the car and left laughing like it was us that had been smoking!!!

Glad you had fun,

Cyndi

I had a great uncle who worked on the Hoover Dam when it was being built.  Glad you got a chance to check it out.

I sometimes feel like I need to be 2 places at the same time, but never actually did it. Glad I know someone that accomplished it.

Susan,

There is a place in the west where you can be in four states at the same time.  It is called "Four Corner."  I went there once as a child and then traveled there with my young family about 30 years later.

Here is the map location:

Susan maybe you shouldn't tell everyone that you can be in two places at the same time.  They might start to expect it from you all the time now.

Susan,

How about the new bridge, how cool is that !!  We market a new home community "Tuscany Retreat" just a couple miles from Hoover dam overlooking Lake Mead you should have stopped in and checked out our models.

Cyndi - what a great story.  I didn't take the tour.  But I was there for over 2 hours, walking, reading the signs etc.  Whacky weed.... hmmmm

Cindy - how cool is it that you had someone who worked on the dam.

Joan - I'm sure you can do it also, all you have to do is go to Hoover Dam.

Paul - I've been to 4 corners.  I think if I sat down I could be in all 4 states, otherwise only 2 at a time, 2 legs.  HAHA

Jim - good thing I didn't tell my family.  They would expect it.

Nicole - if I had known you were there I would have stopped in.  The new bridge is amazing.  To think all cars had to go across the other bridge.

Steve - I know I'm not the only one who can be in 2 places at one time.

OK Susan, when you can be at a Home Inspection and a closing at the same time then I will be impressed! It is a marvolus stucture isn't it. It harnesses and incredible amount of power behind its walls. Next trip, try Four Corners.

Hi Susan,

My husband and I took our kids one spring vacation to Las Vegas.  (It was at the time they were really pushing it as a family destination!)  We went to see Hoover Dam but I didn't remember that about it.  I guess I was in two places at the same time once, myself!:)

So, while you were there, did you go on the dam tour and find out all the cool dam facts? I really enjoyed going there and took lots of dam pictures and even went to the dam souvenir shop and got some cool dam gifts.

Dale - since I rarely stay for entire home inspection I don't think that is possible.

Todd - I didn't go on the Dam tour, i thought it might be a dam tourist trap, and that I could read the dam signs on my own.... Next time.
