Hi Laura, yep been there, done that....I had a rat decide to raise his family in my attic last year and boy those suckers are loud! I got rid of that problem, now I just have blackbirds banging their beaks against my gutters.

They can be destructive, but they are so cute. I have one fellow who is always hanging around my deck, and when we cross paths in the morning when I'm leaving for work he gets offended by my presence. I think he believes that he's the property owner. I'm more frightened of him than he is of me. I wouldn't want him to attack me, I bet he could scratch the heck out of me.
