Dave: Great advice, and I also recommend Blink, along with a couple of Gladwell's other books, The Tipping Point and Outliers. Thanks for sharing!
While it is usally price that is the problem, sometime other solutions can be just as important. Good luck on a quick sale.
Brokers and real estate agents always think that dropping the price on a home is the easiest way to get a property sold faster. I disagree, yes I am a professional home stager and why make a seller lose even more money when it could just be as simple as having a home properly staged on the interior and exterior and it doesn't take a lot to get it in show ready condition to sell. Your blog Dave definately demonstrates that a creative and experienced agent such as yourself knows that an attractive home that is properly staged to sell will drive buyer traffic and get a seller closer to his asking price without having to drop the price - great advice and hope this brought you a quick sell! If you ever want more home staging tips ready to print for sellers or more info about an economical new staging tool called virtual staging can check out my blog here on active rain!
