2012 market trends

The graphic below shows the number of single family homes for sale in Ormond By The Sea Florida through the Daytona Beach area Association of Realtors® Multiple Listing Service (MLS) for the years 2009 through 2011.
There has obviously been a steady decline in the inventory of homes for sale in recent years.

2012 market trends

As the inventory decreases buyers have fewer choices and sellers have less competition.

The amount of activity in the market currently indicates that the trend for 2012 should be a continuing decline in the number of homes actively for sale and further stabilization of sales price averages which should help stabilize values makeing the market stronger overall.
