5. LET’S GO SHOPPING!
Home shopping & going on showings is exciting, but it can also be confusing. Here are a few tips:
• Take good notes
• Take plenty of pictures
• Share your thoughts with Carrie & Kathy to keep us moving in the right direction.
Another tip we like to give is don't see more houses that you can remember. We like to limit each excursion to six or so homes. When you see too many more it really is difficult to remember each home and appreciate what you've seen.
6. CHOOSING A HOME
It’s time to choose your home. For some people this part is easy, for others it’s a difficult decision. New home listings come on the market almost daily. But keep in mind the home you visited yesterday, and liked so much, could be gone tomorrow.
You might want to refer back to your wants and needs and evaluate the home, or homes, you are now considering based on that list. Try to remember that no home is perfect, but some do come very close. Does this home have all, or at least most, of what you were looking for when you started your journey? Are you willing to make some changes after you close to make the home perfect?
