What you can do to protect your family from this poorly regulated industrial waste
Meeting at Lake Julian- Asheville
I have always liked boating at Lake Julian and Asheville area park where we can rent canoes and a pontoon boat is offered at no charge for use by People with Disabilities, Senior Citizens and for Educational Student Tours. Also, a boat launch is available for fishing boats with electric motors, canoes, kayaks and sailboats. (There is a daily or annual fee to use the boat launch.)
Clean Water NOT Coal Ash Cookout and Rally -
Did YOU join Appalachian Voices, Western North Carolina Alliance, CWFNC, and other organizations from 5:00-7:00 at Lake Julian Park to eat some burgers (both meat and veggie) while you learn about the threat of toxic coal ash due to Progress Energy's Asheville coal-fired power plant and what you can do to protect your family from this poorly regulated industrial waste?
