The 2012 Orange County International Triathlon will be held in Mission Viejo on May 20, 2012. This coming Sunday (April 1st) Lake Mission Viejo has a preview day. Regardless of whether you are enrolled in the Triathlon or not, you can come participate in a 1 mile swim from end to end.
This is not for those who are unused to long distance swimming, although there will be safety personel on hand for participant protection.
Fees: $25 General Public, $15 TriLaVie & Swim Velocity Team Members
Schedule:
- 7:15am Check-in, Announcements and Swim warm-up
- 8:00am Swim Starts
- 9:00am Swim Ends
- Must be able to complete swim in 1 hour.
Wetsuits are mandatory and will be available for rent the day of the event for $5. The water will be about 60°!!
