The spring market is really heating up and I’ve had a lot of out-of-towners coming to Henderson, KY to find their next home. If you’re thinking about making a move to our area, mark your calendar for the weekend of April 20th - 22nd to jumpstart your Henderson, KY home search. Organized by the Breakfast Lions Club, what is now one of the largest festivals in Henderson started out as a fundraiser over 20 years ago. The best part (aside from the carnival rides, entertainment and delicious food) is that the proceeds from Henderson Tri-Fest are put directly back into your community.
To kick off the festival weekend, assemble the family and rally some of your neighbors and head over to Echo Lanes in Henderson, KY for Bowl for the Cure. Bowl at 6pm or 8pm and pay $25 for adults and $12 for children 12 and under. Not a bad deal for two games of bowling, shoe rental, a Bowl for the Cure t-shirt and entry into several door prize drawings. Not to mention the event raises money for breast cancer research. Have a blast with your Henderson, KY neighbors while raising funds for a great cause!
If you haven’t attended Henderson Tri-Fest in the past, or even if you have, here’s some of what you can expect at this year’s festival from April 20th – 22nd:
- Food booths
- Carnival rides
- Owensboro Symphony Orchestra playing along with a firework display
- Zumba fitness in the park
- Habitat for Humanity 5K
- Henderson Humane Society Adopt-a-Thon
- Jump Rope for Heart
- Entertainment for all ages on the Central Park Main Stage
