A Blind Dog - Desperately Alone

Reblogger Kristine Ginsberg
Home Stager with Elite Staging and Redesign, LLC

Anyone who knows me, knows I am a huge animal lover and volunteer at  Mount Pleasant Animal Shelter helping dogs like Fiona. There are so many dogs out there like Fiona who need our help!

Debra Walsh of Keller Williams in Hudson Valley, NY posted this heart warming story of an abandon, blind dog who was saved and  finally adopted by a loving family.

I hope Fiona's story inspires people to donate even a small amount of money to their local animal shelters to help other dogs receive the care and veterinarian treatment they so desperately need so they too can find their forever homes.

Fiona's story is one of the most heartwarming animal rescue stories I have ever seen, but there are so many more dogs out there that need our help.

I promise you will feel good after watching this video - it has a very happy ending!

You have to watch this video.  Watching it made me burst into tears, but it had a good ending for a change which helped greatly.

Those of us in Real Estate see abandoned, abused and unloved animals almost everyday some weeks.  Since the economy has taken this downturn over the last few years not only people are paying the price - animals are too.  The only difference is they don't have a voice

Organizations like Hope For Paws are animal's angels and need to be supported.  PLEASE give to these shelters and organizations who take in these abandoned and abused animals.  They take take in all types of animals, giving them the food and medical care they so urgently need.  They give them the love they need as well and that is PRICELESSEvery single cent will help these sick and hungry animals. If you love animals please share this post.

Kristine, boy that was powerful and emotional....I see stray dogs all the time in Italy but thankfully not here. I do hope no pet has to suffer, they all deserve a loving family.

A very amazing story about cleaning up a dog and restoring sight from Debra, Kristine. All about caring, and the world just needs so much more of that. It is hard work and takes money too. Thanks for your re-blog.

Thanks for sharing this post Kristine, it really made me cry.  The doggie is beautiful and I'm so glad it got a home.  I volunteer at The Elmsford Animal Shelter, walking dogs so I see blind puppies all the time.  BTW, I look forward to meeting you next Tuesday evening in White Plains!

Kris, oh my, how can ANYONE walk away and not be eternally changed by this!! I'm a mess after this...good thing I don't have to see anyone or talk with anyone. Thank you, to Debbie and to YOU for this post.

The thing is...they're ALL good dogs, they just need a chance.

(By the way, I ordered the Kuranda bed for my vet hospital...what a wonderful way to give to animals in shelters!  The gal I spoke with was familiar w/Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter and I told her that you connected me with their incredible beds.)
