Photoblogging
This is just a simple photo of a grouping of Pink Cymbidium orchids and while we have all seen them throughout our lives, capturing them digitally can add lots of interest in a blog post. Some photobloggers use photos and titles only but where I think it makes the biggest difference are in local posts that shares interesting aspects of the community related to the photos. Can a simple flower be relevant in a post. Most assuredly.
One of our outstanding fellow bloggers, Roy Kelley loves flowers and shows more varieties than most of us have ever seen. He and his wife go out of their way to visit important flower gardens and botanical displays near their markets and captures so many varieties, colors and hybrids.
Roy has this wonderful ability to tie his love of flowers and makes them relevant to many of his blog posts.
I suggested a few times that Roy begin organizing his massive collection to publish in a book. I hope he does because Roy's floral and botanical collection is simply amazing and I have never seen one larger or more varied in specimens.
