Staging Open Floor Concept Homes: Before/After Photos
When selling an open concept home it’s very important to stage each space with a purpose that’s cohesive and flows from one space to the next. My client had lived in this condo for 4 years and had never utilized one quarter of the space not knowing what it could be used for. She set the dining room up around the corner which didn’t make sense or look attractive.
Elite Staging and Redesign took the guess work out by changing the configuration of the room so that each area had a purpose, was cohesive and flowed.
Because my client’s flat screen TV was hooked up to the wall already, I kept the first space as the living room, added a rug, new coffee table, accessories and plants…

The space next to the living room was empty so I moved the dining room table down from around the corner, removed the top of the china cabinet to open up the space and added a fireplace ($139.00 Home Depot) and now the space was cohesive and made sense to buyers…

We created an office in the space around corner where the dining room had been.

Usually in staging we take away furniture, but in this case my client had very little. We came up with a budget that worked for her and everything we purchased she would be taking to her new home. Once I brought in my inventory of accessories, it all came together.
