Mansion in May at Glynallyn Castle in Morristown

The Women's Association of Morristown Medical Center (WAMMC) is pleased to announce its 16th Mansion in May Designer Showhouse and Gardens at Glynallyn Castle in Morristown, New Jersey. From May 1st through May 31, guests are invited to tour this historic mansion featuring design inspirations from 60 of the area's top interior and landscape designers who have donated their work in support of our cause: a new Inpatient Hospice and Palliative Care Center at Morristown Medical Center. After touring the Mansion and strolling through the gardens, guests can make the most of their spring day in the country by dining at the Castle Cafe and shopping at the Crown Boutiques, all conveniently located on the estate.

Upon approach to the long, tree-lined driveway, one gets the immediate sense of having traveled back in time to arrive at a centuries-old Elizabethan Tudor castle in the English countryside with an imposing fortified entrance and majestic stained glass windows stretching high upon its façade. It was a time when monarchs reigned supreme and gallant knights on horses stood guard...welcome to Glynallyn. Glynallyn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is one of the few remaining mansions on Morristown's famed "Millionaires' Row." Visitors to Mansion in May 2012 can purchase tickets online, at the door, or at select retail locations. Over 20,000 guests are expected to visit Mansion in May 2012!
