When You Have 400 Birds To Choose From Which One Do You Pick?

Bird watching is such a relaxing way to spend an afternoon.  No matter how wired you may feel, taking a little time to watch the birds you can't help but unwind.

Cindy- Wish I'd known about this area when we lived in Leesburg!  I love bird watching, especially during nesting season. 

I spent some time hanging out at the Manassas Battlefield today and got some photos of critters.  Need to download them and see if there are any keepers.

As I sit at the table in the morning with my laptop and coffee, there are all manner of birds that come to the feeder just outside the window. They are so pleasant to watch and occasionally there will be a song

Cindy, I'll pick the one that speaks to me.....color, body language, and visual appeal!

Speaking of Occoquan and birds, I got a Rare Bird Alert that you guys had a Bahama Mockingbird in the Refuge this past weekend! If you are a life-list kind of person, you might want to see if you can spot it. I told my fiance I had half a mind to drive up to NoVA and try to see it!
