Property tax in our area can range from 2 to 2.7%. We have NO STATE TAX. A friend of mine moved here from New York and took a job that paid 5000.00 a year less and still is taking home 100.00 more a paycheck than he did when he lived in New York. Nice raise, less responsiblity he loves it.
