This single rose appeared on one of our Knock Out Rose bushes. Since we put deer netting around the rose bushes and other flowers to protect them from the deer.... the rose bushes are doing much better and the flowers are beginning to bloom.
My wife really loves our roses. We do not have the dear so no netting. LOL

Rebecca: Where there is one rose, many more are sure to follow. I bet this knockout rose bush will look fantastic when it is in full bloom.
Love knock outs Rebecca. Our deer don't touch our roses and we have KO's all around. The do love our Hibiscus bushes though.
In the California foothills, residents often talk about the deer, and what a nuisance they can be when trying to grow anything. I'm surprised deer would go after roses, with their thorns and all.
Rebecca, the deer and rabbits really loved a vegitable garden in my yard in Illinois...never thought about deer netting...I'm sure I would have had more to eat if I used it.

Thanks to everyone for stopping by .... you should see the bushes they do have a lot more roses, so the deer netting is working plus we have had some good rain.
