Drop Metal Unique Metal Objects A Somewhat Local Business, Huntsville Alabama
This post may not have a lot to do with Real Estate, but it does show if you are good at and care about what you do do in life...word gets around...I'm just passing the word around,.
I say somewhat local because Drop Metal was located in Lowe Mill here in Huntsville Alabama, but that location didn't allow for metal fabrication so Drop Metal moved to Tennessee which is just across the Alabama border an easy commute.
Micah Gregg & Kacie Lynn (above) are striving to and succeeding at making a connection between art and product design, with the view that quality is valued over quantity. From House Numbers and Signage to Furniture Drop Metal can add something special and set you apart from the norm. The medium they work in is varied, but using recycled material is their goal. During metal fabrication when metal is cut, what drops to the floor is called "drop metal"...scrap...and this is what Micah & Kacie make use of and hence their company name; "Drop Metal". Micah & Kacie are constantly adapting to design requests and regularly being challenged and inspired by their clients...they seem to really enjoy that. And don't make the mistake of judging a book by its cover...Micah & Kacie's work has been featured in "Martha Stewart Wedding Spring 2012 Edition".
This is supposed to have a distressed look about it.
I had the pleasure of meeting Micah & Kacie yesterday when they dropped off a project that they've been fabricating for us here at @Homes Realty Group. Micah & Kacie stayed to talk for a while sharing the philosophy of what they are all about leaving me the impression that they were very excited about their work, down to earth and while business owners they're not two suits out to take advantage of anyone. Their work ethic closely follows ours and probably for that reason and that Micah & Kacie did such a great job on the "@" sign for us that we are having them work on another project for us.
