Diane Keaton's former oceanfront estate sold after it reverted to the bank in December. The foreclosure auction brought $8.1 million for this Shaw's Cove mission style villa. It is the highest-paid sale in the year and the 5th in price for the city in the past two years.
The home was built in 1928 and has the cities highest historic rating "E". It is a 5 bedroom, 5 bath, 4390 sf home on a 12,175 sf lot, with ocean views and direct beach access.
When Diane Keaton owned the home she purchased it for $7.5 million in 2004 and sold it in 2005 for 14.5 million.
