Although the Original BBQ Chicken Pizza was what got California Pizza Kitchen their claim to fame, they don't just serve pizza. In fact, not only do they have some of the best salads offered among restaurants in Roseville, California...but their Avocado Club Egg Rolls appetizer is seriously addicting!

California Pizza Kitchen at The Fountains in Roseville offers diners a choice of outdoor patio seating (with misters!) or comfortable booths and tables in their dining room.

The Avocado Club Egg Rolls appetizer was recommended by our server during our first visit to California Pizza Kitchen in Roseville, CA about a month ago...and we enjoyed it so much, we've ordered it on all three of our subsequent visits since then!

So far, Bob and I have tried three different salads at California Pizza Kitchen: the Original BBQ Chicken Chopped Salad, the CPK Cobb Salad and the Waldorf Chicken Salad. Even though all three salads are top contenders...my personal favorite is the Waldorf Chicken Salad (Field greens, grapes, Granny Smith apples, candied walnuts, celery and Gorgonzola, tossed with homemade Dijon balsamic vinaigrette...mmm!)

The only pizza Bob and I have tried so far there is California Pizza Kitchen's famous Original BBQ Chicken Pizza (invented in 1985): BBQ sauce, smoked Gouda, Mozzarella, BBQ chicken, red onions and cilantro. It is a truly fabulous signature dish, a real winner...and definitely one we will order again!
