City of Edmond's Watering Rationing & Cool Zones

It's hot and dry and with the temps staying well over the century mark, the City of Edmond is implementing mandatory water rationing. "Residents and businesses can follow the level two mandatory water rationing schedule. This applies to only irrigation systems and sprinklers. Hand watering with a hose is allowed every day."

There are also local cool zone provided by OG&E Energy Corporation and several partners in the project. These are designated places throughout the area where relief from the brutal heat can be found.

Edmond Library, 10 S. Boulevard

Edmond Branch YMCA, 1220 S. Rankin Street

the Daily Living Center, 3413 Wynn Drive

the Trails YMCA, 261 S. Santa Fe Avenue
