Get to know your roof; it could save money & the life of it!

What’s over your family’s head equals security, monitor and maintain your roof, caring for your roof pays-off when it comes to your home and family.

Professional roofers I talk with believe it’s pays-off to have regular roof inspections, especially for those homeowners that live where the weather is extreme.

Most homeowners should use an established professional roofer in their area to do the roof inspection. For the do it yourselfers, inspecting the roof requires climbing on it, always use the proper safety gear & equipment to ensure a safe inspection. Some roof inspections are done with binoculars as well. I think the best option is getting a professional to do it, where I live, there’s no charge and they’re free.

If you have routine roof inspections, you probably won’t need to look for the obvious signs of roof problems, (leaks in the attic, ceiling-peeling paint, ceiling/wall-stains, or any signs of exterior sheathing/siding decay).

Get to know your roof; it could save money & the life of it!

There’s more than the shingles or tile to your roof. A roof is designed with leak barriers and ventilation components. It’s important that the roof components work together to cover and protect the roof & house.

Remember, after a storm passes through your roof takes the majority When a storm hits your area, the roof takes a big brunt of the punishment; seams on the roof are prone to splitting, cracking, or opening.

I don’t take any chances with my properties, I like leaving it up to Bond Roofing, and they’ve been my go to professional for all my roof inspections. Get to know your roof; it could save money & the life of it!

Think about what’s right and then do it; I say; “It’s harder to do the wrong thing verses doing the right thing”
