Water Stains On Your Wood Furniture? Here's A Solution!

This is just amazing, you have to try it if you have those nasty white rings and marks on your furniture!

We had our beautiful kitchen table marked by white marks due to a water leak. We had tried everything we could think of and were told to try and nothing made those marks leave! We had resigned ourselves to the fact that it would have to be refinished, when our daughter Laura found this website, Tidy Mom's blog.

It advised a tea towel and a hot iron would remove the stains. Okay, yes, we were very skeptical but figured let's try it we didn't have anything to lose, we couldn't make the table look any worse. So we heated up the old iron, found a t-shirt and went to work on the table.

Can you imagine our shock when after a few seconds we lifted the shirt and saw the white marks had disappeared?! It was so simple, so easy and now our table is decent again! Thanks Tidy Mom!

If you have marks like these on your furniture, give it a try, you'll be glad you did. If you're thinking about buying or selling real estate in Brampton, call us at 905-450-5500 or email us at getsold@rogers.com, we'll make it just as easy for you!

Al and Peggy -

Thanks for this one!  I had not heard of it but will be giving it a try as many sign real estate contracts at the dining table and don't bother to use the coaster.  Debbie has been putting Mayo on the white spots leaves over night and amazing it's gone by the next day.  Always looking for new ways to fix or correct bloopers around the house.  Have a great day in all you do!

Al & Peggy - What a fantastic tip!  I also had heard that mayonnaise could remove these stains, as John Mc mentioned above, but I've never heard of using an iron.  What a scorchingly hot idea!
