Thank you so much for your time and compliment, Paige! Hope ALL is well in CENLA for you.  East Baton Rouge itself, in some of the hotter zip codes around The Mall of Louisiana is doing well, but Wow were my eyes opened with the whole day dedicated to end of month reporting on GBR Housing.  Ascension and Livingston Parishes (bedroom communities) seem to be under performing based on the numbers, which is very disturbing.  I thought we were doing better than that.  Especially since Western Livingston Parish (Denham Springs, Watson, Walker) is viewed as the bread-and-butter affordable housing markets where the median sales price is $153K, almost $50K below Baton Rouge median prices. Ascension and Livingston Parishes are supposed to be the 2 fastest growing Parishes in Louisiana.  If they still are, then Louisiana growth must have really slowed.  Scratching my head on this.....   Greater Baton Rouge isn't out of the woods yet that I can tell.  But near the Mall and the center of Baton Rouge, there's not even a hint of any market struggle.

Take Care Paige!
