This is the East Greenwich RI Real Estate market update for August 2012, as follows: 21 East Greenwich homes sold.
11 homes sold over $400,000
7 homes sold for between $300,000-$400,000
3 homes sold for under $300,000
Home sales increased by 91% last month over July. There were 123 East Greenwich homes for sale in 
August which was a 4% decrease over July. Currently, there are 9 luxury East Greenwich homes for sale over $1 million.
19 homes are Pending in East Greenwich in August. This is down from the prior month but buyers are still searching for Rhode Island real estate here. In fact, it is a balanced buyers-sellers market in East Greenwich as absorption rates are at a 6 months of homes on the market.
East Greenwich has the homes for sale and the locations buyers want with many neighborhood choices. Schools remain a top attraction for living here (East Greenwich being one of the top rated RI school systems). As well as easy commute to Providence and the Wickford Junction train station is a stone’s throw for those commuting to Boston!
The historic Main Street in East Greenwich is packed with unique shops and foodie restaurants– it is always worth a meal here.
