According to the Maryland State Board of Elections, voting early is the same as voting on election day: when you get to the early voting center, you check in and then vote your ballot on the touchscreen voting system.Simply touch the screen to make, change, and review selections and to cast your ballot.
There will be instructions available at each early voting center to familiarize you with the ballot. You may ask an election judge to explain how to vote, but you must cast your vote alone unless you are unable to do so because you're disabled or unable to read/write the English language.
Who can vote early? Any registered voter is eligible for early voting.
