There will be instructions available at each early voting center to familiarize you with the ballot. You may ask an election judge to explain how to vote, but you must cast your vote alone unless you are unable to do so because you're disabled or unable to read/write the English language.

Who can vote early?  Any registered voter is eligible for early voting.

Margaret, early voting is such a great idea!  Anything that makes it easier for people to participate is a great idea.

Pat, I never really thought about it before my daughter voted last week in Virginia.  She travels on business, and voting early means she won't have to schedule her appointments to be in town on November 6.  In fact, I think it's a good idea for those of us who have flexible schedules to vote early, to shorten the lines on election day.

I would like to encourage all those reading this local post to go vote. It is your right but also your duty to vote.

Yeah, I voted early! I even wrote myself in as a candidate for two postions! LOL! They were local, and I certainly did not want to vote for  the one and only that was running for them. So I added myself. I won't quite my day time job anytime soon!

I voted early as I'll be tucked away in a hotel room in the NC Mountains trying to create a business plan for 2013 that will knock my socks off.

Hmmmm....
