Eastvale CA - VantagePoint Church donates 20 IPads.
October 9th 2012, Mark Lee and Tom Lanning, pastors of VantagePoint Church and residents of Eastvale donated 20 IPads to Eleanor Roosevelt High School Special Education program. This is just one of the examples of the love the church has for its members and community.
With all the cuts that is occuring across the state, this gift comes at a time that is most welcome by the community.
VantagePoint church is a portable contemporary church that meets every Sunday at ERHS. The congregation meets at 9 and 10:45am every Sunday. The church was started in 2008 with 353 attendees. It currently meets at the High school which is located at 7447 Scholar Way, Eastvale CA 92880 and has over 1000 members who meets on a regular basis.
Pastor Mark asked " the question of whether a group of people doing simple acts of kindness could change the life of an entire community? They envisioned a church that didn’t simply gather for Sunday worship, but one that would mobilize itself to make a difference in the life of its community."

"VantagePoint Church has passed out over 20,000 bottles of water, washed cars, painted local schools, fed the homeless, brought down the price of gas, adopted teachers and taken down Christmas lights on local houses all as free services to show God’s love in tangible ways."
Mark Lee and the church is very visible in the community. He brings the community together by providing the needs of the community. At the beginning of this school year, they bought In N Out burgers for all the high school teachers. Every Halloween, they coordinate a free and safe Trick or Trunk activity for the whole community.
The message seems to be that if we care for our community, the way our Lord cares and loves us, then more and more will come to HIM!
