Thankful Thursdays: Peaceful for shore...

Calm waters, smooth as glass, lapping at the shore.
Many weekends spent with family members at a favorite camp spot, on the lake or alongside the water's edge in anticipation of hauling in our limit. Lately, catching more of the the surrounding beauty that exists all day, every day. Our boys are self-sufficient with their fishing skills, no need to bait their hook fill their bubbles or help take a fish off the line.
I miss the giggles and excited cries of our children but ever so thankful to have spent the time. So I guess now we anticipate the next generation of fishing enthusiasts...grandchildren.
Oh, I think I got a bite...gotta go!

Wanda, you have some great views out there in St George Utah. Grand children will bring put the giddy as well.
Good morning Wanda. Lovely picture and wonderful sentiments. Enjoy the day.
Ed, This is one of our favorite places! Grandbabies will be FUN!
Thank you Sheila, a great day to you as well!
Hi Wanda. I wish I could join you at the lake for some fishing. It certainly is a very quiet and beautiful place to be on a Thursday afternoon. Have a Great Day!
I love fishing!! My kids enjoyed it when they were younger, but when my oldest (now 16) hit about 12, he said, "I don't want to go fishing". !!?? So, it's been a while. Beautiful picture, Wanda. Love the peaceful look of the still water. :)
Jerry, This place allows no cell use or internet service! Awesome relaxing time!
Sonja, I know what you mean...my husband and I go by ourselves mostly now...it is so peaceful!
Wanda...my favorite type of fishing is when the water is still like this.
The lake does look like glass. Just like William, I like it when the water is still. It's very calming. Enjoy the peace. The grandchildren will come soon enough and you'll love every minute of it! :-)
Me too Bill! Happy fishing!
Thank you Donna, looking forward while appreciating the past!
Wanda,
I could see myself sitting there all day with a good book and a cooler full of beer.
Rich
