Vancouver Home Stager's Highlights of the IDS West Show 2012 Part 2
This year's Interior Design Show West (IDS West) Vancouver was truly a stellar exhibit. As a Vancouver Home Stager, it's extremely important to keep up with the trends and happenings in the design world. I was truly inspired, and plan on incorporating what I saw at the show into some of my staging designs. Here are more highlights of the show.
FURNITURE & ACCESSORIES
One of my favourite accessory/design stores in West Vancouver is Da Vinci's on Belleview. They have an amazing assortment of high end, glamorous accessories, furniture and artwork. I love their coral, which is delicate and the real McCoy.
Here's another angle of the Da Vinci display at the Interior Design Show West, Vancouver. Love these open book shelves or etageres, that Tommy Smythe referred to in his talk at the Show. Perfectly accessorized!
Love this display by Inform Interiors Vancouver, located in Gastown. Inform is known for its classic and contemporary furniture, and their display did not disappoint. It seem very reminiscent of Piet Modrian's Red, Yellow & Blue abstract paining, with the red, yellow and blue furniture backdrops. I love the Eclectic line by British designer, Tom Dixon, especially the brass hammered bowls on the left.
One of my favourite stores this year has to be Style Garage. Hailing from Toronto, this uber cool, chic, young, hip, mod furniture store has only been in Vancouver for about a year. Style Garage is located in Gastown; a playful furniture store that doesn't take itself too seriously. Great furniture for downtown condos.
I absolutely love these versatile tables, called Timber Tables. You can use them in a collection as a coffee table, or as side tables. The combination of wood and clear "faux bois" acrylic is an intriguing combination. They'd be perfect in a small condo, as the clear tables don't take up much visual space.
This year's Interior Design Show West 2012 Vancouver was full of inspiration for this Vancouver Home Stager.
