Today, Newbie Tuesday features Rich Arnold, a Keller Williams agent in Tempe, Arizona. I've seen Rich's comments around the Rain from time to time, and his accompanying profile photo sporting a dapper hat makes me smile. But, admittedly, I haven't had the time to really read many of Rich's posts - until today.
Wow, have I been missing out. Rich's writing style is sprinkled with humor and just the right touch of his own personality. For example, I could nearly feel the warm desert sun in his first post written in June of 2012. Instead of, it's a dry heat, his first blog, about a recent closing during hot Arizona weather was titled, "It's a Buy Heat." Short and sweet, it made me smile.
Another entertaining post, about the importance of previewing homes, Pretzel Driving, makes his point perfectly. Once again, he makes me smile. A recent post, written on November 4th, is about the civility, or lack of it, at times in Active Rain. I must have missed the drama ( thank goodness, I'm not a fan of drama) but, I really like Rich's ability to turn the issue into a positive, "When to Stand in the Rain..."
If you haven't had the chance to meet Rich, please drop by his blog and welcome him to the Rain. As of today, I'm a subscriber to his blog, hopefully, you'll also feel compelled to subscribe - he has a lot to offer. And, chances are, he'll make you smile.
Today's Newbie Tip: If you make it a habit of only reading the features (many from the usual suspects), you're missing out on some great posts. ( Although, Rich has already been featured several times!) Each day, take a minute or two and try to find a new voice, or an undiscovered one in the Rain. You'll be Rich(er) for it. ;)
